Most outlets treated this story in straightforward diplomatic terms: NPR, The Hill, and NeutralNews used neutral verbs like "announces," "strikes," and "reach deal" with no evaluative language, simply conveying that an agreement on US military presence in Greenland had been concluded. The notable exception is The Federalist, which sits at the far end of the 2.5-point spread and departs sharply from that factual register. Where others confined themselves to describing the deal, The Federalist's headline declares it "Makes The World More Secure" — an explicit endorsement of the policy outcome — while a second clause, "Makes The Media Less Relevant Than Ever," pivots entirely away from the diplomatic story to advance an anti-press argument. That combination of policy validation and media antagonism accounts for the entire bias spread observed here; the remaining outlets showed no meaningful ideological divergence from one another.
